Kind time of the day, as you already understood from the title in this topic, we will talk about "Timer - countdown to the end of the action."
More recently, one of the clients needed to display a simple timer in the product card which will count the time until the end of the promotional price of the goods.
Of course, I immediately went to Yandex and Google in search of a ready solution, but having stayed about an hour and a half I did not find anything concrete, maybe I was looking bad for it 
but still.
All the additions and solutions that I came across in the search process were either too simple, or with many additional functions that I did not really need, of course there were also solutions that in principle would have come up, but their cost was completely inadequate and overstated.
Well, as I said earlier, I needed to make a simple and at the same time informative countdown timer, so it was decided to make my own add-on for these purposes.
Having surfed on the Internet and studied several templates, since I'm not a designer, and I needed an idea how to design the appearance of the timer block itself, as a result, I had a simple and seemingly even pretty timer that worked in the stock card.
I made this decision completely on ocmod, that is, what would the timer have done is just throw it into the system folder and update the application cache in the admin panel opencart.
For some templates of course, you may need to change the output location so that everything would be beautifully displayed. This add-on should work fine on all versions of the second branch of opencart.
